I am responsible for supervising, coaching and supporting teachers and campus instructional support staff. I provided professional development to all teachers within their perspective departments to include curriculum alignment and item writing sessions based on the deconstruction of standards. I provided professional developments over data driven instruction, writing effective learning objectives and creating formative assessments that can be used for instruction. I also provided demonstration lessons for teachers with actual students to ensure that each teacher received appropriate modeling and integration of the professional development content.  Once I demonstrated appropriate lesson and assessment implementation, I debrief and conduct professional conversations with teachers regarding the instructional delivery observed and the use of formative assessments throughout the lesson.  I then observed teacher delivery of a lesson and provided support through effective, immediate feedback aimed to enhance teacher proficiency, resulting in increased student engagement and learning. I conferred with and co-planned lessons with teachers and reviewed data with them in order to help them better align their assessments.
